Dr. Thomas D. Truong

Dr. Thomas D. Truong has performed thousands of foot surgeries in his career, and specializes in bunions, hammertoes, and forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive procedures. Whenever possible, though, Dr. Truong pursues all available nonsurgical treatments before resorting to surgery. As a result of his combined experience and commitment to state-of-the-art therapies, Dr. Truong is able to offer more options to his patients than any other podiatrist in the region.

Our Services

The Kansas Foot Center is pleased to offer exceptional foot and ankle care, both conservative and surgical in nature, for a wide range of medical conditions. We use state-of-the-art technology and techniques when dealing with common issues like sports injuries, heel pain, and various skin and toenail conditions, as well as providing diabetic foot care to keep our patients safe from potentially serious medical complications.

We are committed to always exploring conservative treatment before recommending foot or ankle surgery, but our doctors are both trained and experienced with performing effective surgical procedures when they are needed. If this is the treatment path we recommend, our professionals will sit down and discuss your procedure so you can make an informed decision and know what to expect.

Our Priority

Put simply, our priority is your health. The Kansas Foot Center is able to back this claim up by the fact we schedule more time with our patients than the industry standard. This allows for better doctor/patient relationships, which is essential for ensuring that your concerns and issues are completely addressed.

Every patient is different, and each situation unique, so it is important that our doctors spend time with you and completely understand the problem. We then take all of the information we gather and apply it to providing you with an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan. For us, this is not “going the extra mile,” it is simply practicing medicine in the way it should be done.

We are proud to have an expert, skilled surgeon on staff, but Dr. Truong is committed to staying current in the latest conservative treatment methods. This often allows us to avoid invasive surgical procedures other podiatrists may elect to perform.
